The marks

For many women in India, the brown marks left after spots heal bother them more than the spots did. They have a programme of their own here.

What we look after here

Sixteen programmes in four groups. Tell us what you see, and we build the plan around your skin.

Tone and glow

4 weeks Skincare plan

Tan and dullness

A tan that won’t fade. Skin that looks tired. A four-week routine that lifts the tanned layer and brings your natural glow back.

Worth knowing — Evens and brightens your own tone. It doesn’t change your natural colour, and isn’t meant to.

3 to 6 months Skincare plan

Acne marks

Flat brown marks left after spots heal. They fade on their own in time; your plan helps them fade much sooner.

Worth knowing — Dents or raised scars are different and need a clinic. Your doctor checks which you have.

Ongoing Doctor-led

Melasma

Brown patches on both cheeks, forehead or upper lip, often after pregnancy or the pill. Your doctor plans your care and adjusts it as you go.

Worth knowing — Melasma can be kept well under control, not cured. Daily sun protection does much of the work.

3 to 6 months Skincare plan, doctor-checked

Dark neck, underarms, knees and elbows

Darker, rougher skin in folds and on joints. Friction and built-up skin respond well. Soft, velvety patches can be linked to blood sugar, so we check.

Worth knowing — If it’s linked to blood sugar, a whole-body plan is the right care, and your skin improves with it.

Acne

12 weeks, then ongoing Skincare plan, doctor-led if needed

Acne

Blackheads, whiteheads and red spots on the face. A routine built for your skin, stepped up only if you need it.

Worth knowing — Give it 12 weeks. Deep, painful acne or scarring needs a specialist, and we help you reach one.

6 months, then ongoing Doctor-led

Hormonal acne

Deep, tender spots along the jaw and chin, often before your period. Your doctor looks after the hormonal cause, not only the surface.

Worth knowing — Some of this care isn’t used in pregnancy, so your doctor plans around yours.

12 weeks Skincare plan

Back and body acne

Breakouts on the chest, shoulders and back, often worse in summer or after the gym. Your plan fits your routine, down to when you shower.

Worth knowing — Small itchy bumps, all one size, are often yeast, not acne. They clear quickly with the right wash.

Texture and early ageing

12 weeks Skincare plan

Open pores and texture

Pores that look larger, skin that feels rough. A plan that clears them out and smooths the surface, for a refined, even finish.

Worth knowing — Pore size runs in families. We make pores far less visible; we don’t shrink them.

8 to 12 weeks Skincare plan

Smooth arms and legs

Rough, bumpy skin on the upper arms and thighs, and dark dots on the legs after shaving. Smoother skin in eight to twelve weeks.

Worth knowing — Bumps tend to return if you stop, so your plan includes a simple routine to keep them away.

6 months, then ongoing Skincare plan, doctor-led if needed

Fine lines and early ageing

Fine lines, uneven texture, sun spots. Most early ageing comes from sun, not years. A steady plan softens lines and protects what you have.

Worth knowing — Deep folds and sagging need a clinic procedure. This is care for smoother, healthier-looking skin.

Skin conditions

4 to 8 weeks Doctor-led

Stubborn ringworm

Itchy, ring-shaped patches that keep coming back after every cream. Your doctor plans a full course and stays with you until it clears.

Worth knowing — Courses now run longer than they used to, and finishing yours is what clears it.

3 to 6 months Doctor-led

Skin after steroid creams

Redness, burning and flare-ups after months on a strong face cream. Your doctor helps you come off it gently and looks after your skin through it.

Worth knowing — Skin often flares before it settles. That’s expected, and we’re with you through it.

3 to 4 months, then ongoing Doctor-led

Redness and flushing

Redness across the cheeks and nose, flushing, sometimes small bumps. Often called sensitive skin. Your doctor finds the cause and calms it.

Worth knowing — Tell us about every cream you’ve used on your face. It changes the plan.

Ongoing Doctor-led

Eczema

Dry, itchy, inflamed patches that come and go. Your doctor sets a plan that calms flares and keeps your skin comfortable between them.

Worth knowing — The aim is the gentlest care that works, stepped down as your skin settles.

Ongoing, reviewed every 3 months Doctor-led

Hives

Itchy, raised welts that appear and fade, week after week. Your doctor adjusts your plan until the itch is under control.

Worth knowing — Most hives can be controlled well. It comes down to getting the plan right for you.

Ongoing Doctor-led

Psoriasis

Thick, scaly patches on elbows, knees or scalp. Mild to moderate psoriasis responds well to care your doctor plans and reviews with you.

Worth knowing — If it covers a large area, a hospital specialist is the right place, and we help you get there.

What we test

Most skin plans need no blood test. For melasma, hormonal acne or soft, velvety dark patches, a home blood test checks thyroid, iron, hormones or sugar.

Thyroid (TSH, free T4, anti-TPO)
Ferritin and serum iron
Fasting glucose and insulin
Home sample collection

Skin changes at its own pace

Here’s what the weeks look like, so you know what to expect.

Weeks 1–2

Your skin settles first: gentle care and sunscreen.

Weeks 3–4

First visible change: brighter, smoother skin.

Week 12

Photos compared with your doctor. Clear progress.

Month 4 on

A lighter routine keeps your results going.

What the evidence says

Acne affects about 85% of people between 12 and 24, and often continues into the thirties and forties.

Bhate & Williams, British Journal of Dermatology, 2013

The brown marks left after spots heal are more common and last longer in brown skin, which is why they need care in their own right.

Davis & Callender, Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, 2010

Questions about skin

Tell us what you see in the assessment and add a few photos. Your doctor confirms it on your call. If two things are going on, like acne and marks, one plan covers both.

No, and nothing can change the colour you were born with. What we do is lift tan, fade marks and patches and even out your tone, so your own skin looks its brightest.

Most plans don’t. Tan, marks, texture and most acne start with skincare. Where a prescription helps, your doctor explains why and prescribes it one to one.

Sometimes. Dark circles have three causes, and only darker skin under the eye responds to skincare. Your doctor looks at your photos and explains which you have before you spend anything.

A photo helps your doctor prepare. The diagnosis happens on your call, with your results in front of you both.

Only when it helps. Thyroid, iron, hormones and blood sugar can all show on skin, and they change the plan. Most skin plans need no test at all.

Some things can, like melasma without daily sun protection, or acne if you stop too early. Your plan includes a lighter routine that keeps results going, and your doctor stays with you.

Your first call with a doctor is free. After that, you pay for your tests, your follow-up sessions and any medicines — and you see every cost before you say yes.
